1. Using Chef Ovii

Chef Ovii is a meal-planning and grocery-estimate service operated by Better Day Works. By using Chef Ovii, you agree to these terms. You must be 18 or older, or use the service with a parent or guardian’s permission.

2. Service and accounts

Features may change, be interrupted, or be withdrawn. Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us if you believe your account has been misused.

3. Food, diets and allergens

Recipes, ingredient suggestions, dietary filters and AI-generated results are general planning aids, not medical or nutritional advice. They may omit or misidentify allergens, unsuitable ingredients, cooking temperatures or cross-contamination risks. Always check product labels, ingredients and dietary needs yourself, and follow safe food handling and cooking guidance.

4. Grocery estimates

Budgets, retailer comparisons, portion costs and shopping totals are estimates only. They may differ from availability, pack sizes, promotions, substitutions and the amount on your actual till receipt. Check the shop price before buying and use your receipt as the final amount paid.

5. Your content

You remain responsible for recipes, photos, links, names, feedback and other content you submit or share. You confirm that you have the right to use it and that it is lawful, accurate to the best of your knowledge, and does not infringe another person’s rights. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to operate and improve Chef Ovii.

6. Takedown requests

To report copyright, privacy or unlawful content, email betterdayworks@gmail.com with the content location, the reason for your request and how we can contact you. We may remove or restrict content while reviewing a report.

7. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, try to access another person’s data, or submit unlawful, harmful or misleading content. We may suspend access when these terms are broken.

8. Liability

Chef Ovii is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, Better Day Works is not liable for loss, injury, illness, allergic reaction, overspending, lost data or damage caused by reliance on recipes, filters, AI output or estimates. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.

9. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will show the revised date. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa without removing rights provided by your local consumer law.

10. Subscriptions and billing

Paddle is the merchant of record for subscriptions purchased through Paddle—the legal seller responsible for processing payments, billing and applicable transaction taxes. Paid subscriptions start when you pay and automatically renew at the billing interval and price disclosed in checkout until cancelled. Cancel anytime through the subscription-management link in your receipt to prevent the next renewal. All plans are billed in US dollars; any applicable taxes are shown in checkout.

11. Launch offers and refunds

The first 30 paid yearly subscribers will be eligible for the advertised Early Bird first-year price; the following 470 paid yearly subscribers will be eligible for the advertised Founding first-year price. The following year renews at the disclosed normal yearly price, not the discounted first-year price. These offers are not lifetime deals or lifetime price locks. Yearly plans have a 30-day money-back guarantee; monthly plans can be cancelled anytime but the current paid month is not refunded except where required by law.
